Al-shabab’s man charged with spreading Sharia Law within the Bay region
Baidabo: Sunatimes: For the third consecutive day in Baidabo Al-shabab fighters are carrying out public awareness and information programs to sensitize local citizens on the significance of implementation of Sharia Law. The exercise is being carried out all over the district, which is the capital of the Bay region. Residents are being forced to attend the exercise as Al-shabab fighters are threatening to take action against those who will not comply with the new order to attend sessions. Al-shabab’s man charged with spreading Sharia Law within the Bay region, Mr. Maalim Gadudow, announced that his group will punish those members of society who will not attend said exercises. They want locals to learn more about Islamic religion and law. The exercise is being carried out at market places as Al-shabab is targeting businessmen and women. Baidabo town has many traders at this time as farm products are in season. It is not the first time Al-shabab has introduced new orders to force citizens to participate in activities that have been organized by the militia group By Bar Kulan Radio |
